Fairly open nose, dried vegetal notes and some tobacco, earthy notes, black berries and sour cherries, light peppery notes, hint of bacon. Fairly tart, dark, juicy fruit on the palate, nutty, spicy oak, some cocoa, fine sandy, slightly astringent tannins, light bite, persistent, fairly open again, medium body, noticeable high alcohol, slightly oxidative and astringent on an otherwise good finish.
