2015 Carnuntum Merlot trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Light dried vegetal notes on the nose, red and black berries, earthy traces. Ripe, partly preserved fruit on the palate, nutty oak and some chocolate, dried vegetal notes, fine sandy, youthfuly tannins, noticeable high alcohol, delicate bitter touch, not particularly deep, hint of chocolate in the background, good to very good finish.
