2008 Carnuntum trocken Anna - Christina, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Editor note: Fairly tart vegetal nose, light eathy notes, partly preserved mixed berries, floral traces, some pepper and mineral notes. Quite tart again on the palate, initially predominantly earthy and salty as well as vegetal notes, more juicy fruit develops with aeration, peppery taces, fine sandy, slightly astringent tannins, some old oak, persistent, elegant bite, has some depth, light malted notes in the background, very good contoured finish.
