2015 Carnuntum Zweigelt trocken Rubin Carnuntum, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Light nutty and earthy notes on the nose, tarry traces, predominantly dark berries and cherries, light dried herbaceous notes. Tart, juicy, fairly cool fruit on the palate, smoky, sooty, spicy oak and some cocoa, fairly prominent salty notes, good persistence, firm, fairly fine youthful tannins, firm structure, very good tart, juicy, fairly cool finish. Has character.
