Sooty nose, pencil lead and cedary notes, dark berries, dried herbs and dark chocolate. Overripe berries and plums on the palate, herbaceous notes, rum punch, delicate spice and light earthy notes, integrated, slightly astringent tannins, full-bodied and has some substance, fairly mature, sweetish alcoholic notes on a good finish. Traditional style, using predominantly overripe berries, shows its origin and skill of winemaker in spite of the inclusion of non-indigenous varieties.
