Preserved red berries on the nose, chocolate and bitter cocoa, roasted notes, spicy oak. Still a little closed on the palate, cool and light-bodied, some slightly green oak, straightforward red berry fruit, gains substance and backbone with aeration, medium. slightly astringent tannins, delicate acid bite, has some substance, also shows its origins, good finish. Needs time to develop.

Best to drink: 2009-2012+. What our ratings mean
