Editor note: Dried-vegetable, a little earthy and bacony nose of black and also red berries with a hint of tar and liquorice as well as slightly animal tones. Ripe, tart, rather dark fruit, cedary, peppery and tarry notes, some smoke, firm, youthful, relatively polished tannin, some acidity, dried herbs in the background, mineral hints, still undeveloped, hints of saltiness, a hint of citrus zest, very good, firm, tart finish with smoke and minerality. Needs to mature a little
