1989 Chateauneuf-du-Pape AOC, Rhône, France

Piquant, tart nose, lemon zest and citrus fruit, oxidative notes and some aldehyde. Good presence in the mouth, lots of creamy fruit, elegant acidity, firm structure, persistent, has bite, good length. The oxidative nose quickly become more prominent with aeration.
