2001 Chateauneuf-du-Pape AOC, Rhône, France

Youthful nose, slightly lactic, cherries and red berries, lots of vanilla oak. Intense youthful fruit, delicate herbal and light lactic notes, lively, still quite prominent acidity, high alcohol, structure, depth and tension improve with aeration, long sweetish finish.
