2015 Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux AOC Cuvée les Ormeaux, Bordeaux, France

Tart and fairly cool nose, black berries and pomegranate with some licorice, coffee grounds and pepper, juniper notes, herbs and some raw beef in the background. Ripe, fairly juicy, firm fruit, refreshing bite, firm, fine but youthful tannins, herbaceous and floral aromas on the palate, some nuts and cocoa, peppery notes, tart earthy and salty notes in the background, still undeveloped, has some depth, very good finish good, tight finish with train.

Best to drink: Mitte 2019 bis 2025+. What our ratings mean
