2003 Rosso di Montalcino DOC, Tuscany, Italy

Mature nose, preserved red and some black berries, slightly sweetish spicy notes, cedar and roasted notes. Very soft on the palate, mature, light spicy oak, some roasted notes and chocolate, slightly noticeable alcohol, very creamy, good finish.

Editor note: Still fairly closed nose, some ethereal notes, red berries, nutshells and marzipan. Quite powerful, well-structured fruit on the palate, accompanied by fruit preserves, apprpriate tannins, some mineral notes, good finish.
