2005 Rosso di Montalcino DOC Banditella, Tuscany, Italy

Candied fruit on the nose, sweet cherries and mixed berries, sweetish spice and herbaceous notes, sweetish vanilla oak. Quite full-bodied, juicy fruit on the palate, herbaceous notes, loads of sweetish spicy oak, some more prominent sugar candy, coconut, fine sandy tannins, fairly persistent, quite firm and has some depth, more prominent spicy oak on a very good finish.

Best to drink: 2009-2011+. What our ratings mean
