2012 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva, Tuscany, Italy

Somewhat spicy and reminiscent of soup herbs of red and a little black berries with pomegranate, tobacco nuances, dark spice and a hint of butter and licorice. Ripe, partly preserved, rather red fruit, relatively soft and warm, fine tannins, light nutty and caramel oak, vanilla on the palate, a hint of herbs, cocoa notes, noticeably gains in juice and firmness with air, very good finish with ripe, red Juice and light seasoning.
