Editor note: Fairly mature nose, light cedary aromas, hint of tobacco, red and black berry fruit, light earthy notes in the background. Tart, predominantly dark fruit on the palate, nutty oak, hint of cocoa, fine sandy tannins, light acid bite, more earthy notes, fairly persistent, quite full-bodied, peppery spice, slightly astringent, noticeable alcohol and spicy oak on a good to very good, tart, juicy finish.
Best to drink: To 2021+
