2010 Barolo DOCG Monfalletto, Piedmont, Italy

Clear, firm, tart aroma of black and red berries with dried floral nuances, a little tar and hints of herbs. Very firm, tart, juicy dark fruit with tobacco aromas and moderate wood spice, taut, fine tannin and some acid bite, dense and persistent on the palate, clear minerality, some peppery spice and a touch of tar, still seems young, good depth, has tension, very good, tight finish, again with a lot of tart juice and some wood spice.
