2003 Nero d'Avola, Sicily, Italy

Slightly spicy nose, cherries, blackcurrants, raspberries and sloe berries. Slightly smooth fruit, with slightly chunky, sandy tannins, jammy note, spicy on the palate, mineral traces, slightly rustic, tart nutty aromas in the background, not particularly deep, attractive finish.
