Tart, somewhat herbal and a hint of meatiness on the nose with tart cherry and berry tones that turn compote-like when exposed to air, as well as earthy notes and liquorice. Slightly acidic fruit also in the mouth, nutty and dried planty tones, slightly peppery, a hint of cocoa, some persistence, slightly sandy tannin, some alcohol warmth, earthy notes, good to very good finish.
