2014 Barolo DOCG Parussi, Piedmont, Italy

Tart, firm, somewhat tarry, tobacco and peppery aroma with red and black berry aromas, bacon, floral nuances, pepper, a little dry herbs and mineral hints. Firmly knit, juicy, grippy fruit with bite and taut, youthful tannins, somewhat spicy on the palate, slightly toasty, with coffee notes, a little bacon and mushrooms, persistent, good depth, some freshness, still rather undeveloped, a little cinnamon in the background, good depth, very good taut, juicy and spicy finish
