2001 Aglianico del Molise DOC Contado, Molise, Italy

Intense berry nose, dried black forest berries, warm, very delicate spicy notes, a hint of cocoa. Still slightly closed on the palate, both elegant and powerful, with prominent berry fruit, a hint of acidity, powerful ripe tannins, all of this accompanied by elegant mineral notes, long, complex finish.
