2004 Tokaji Aszú 6 puttonyos, Tokaj-Hegyalja, Hungary

Rather oaky nose, spicy coconut, caramelized yellow fruit, dried pomaceous fruit, some undergrowth, nuts and dried herbs. Fairly prominent oak again on the palate, spicy with light green notes, hint of bell peppers, Mediterranean fruit in syrup, citrus and candied nuts, herbs and spicy oak in the background, polished, fairly prominent acidity provides balance, still slightly closed, but already complex, good finish.
