2005 Süd-Steiermark Ried Untere Ranz Ried Cabernet Sauvignon trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Editor note: Fairly mature nose, delicate vegetal and moderate mineral notes, red berries and cassis, chocolate, delicate herbaceous notes. Cool, very persistent, polished fruit on the palate, preserved red currants and some cassis, vegetal and some more mineral notes, moderate touch of dark chocolatein the background, still slightly closed, fairly prominent, fine-grained, slightly astringent tannins, perfectly integrated alcohol, polished, elegant style, has substance, becomes more complex with aeration, delicately bitter on a deep, long finish.
