1997 Wachau Ried Loibenberg Grüner Veltliner Federspiel®, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Gold to amber colour. Mature nose, nutty notes and some caramel, hint of tobacco, partly dried yellow fruit, vegetal and earthy notes. Clearly mature tart fruit on the palate, prominent vegetal and light earthy notes, nutty traces, hint of tobacco, fairly prominent acidity, fairly persistent, salty notes in the background, firm bite, very slightly sandy tannins, hint of sugar candy, noticeable acidity again on a very tart finish.
