Editor note: Tart, fairly cool nose, prominent vegetal, earthy and mineral notes, delicate floral any easty notes, restrained yellow fruit. Straightforward, firm, dry, delicately juicy fruit on the palate, prominent vegetal aromas, root vegetables and broccoli, yeasty and nutty notes, light tannic grip, good substance and persistence, prominent earthy and salty mineral notes, good depth, firm structure, very good tart finish.
Best to drink: Late 2017-2024+

One of the eight specific wine growing areas in the Austrian province or generic wine growing area of Lower Austria. It is crossed by the Danube, on whose northern bank slopes many of the most terraced vineyards are located. The partly very steep vineyards are among the steepest vineyards in Austria.
