Editor note: Prominent mineral notes on the nose, light herbaceous notes and floral traces, ripe yellow fruit and some sugar candy. Firm, juicy fruit on the palate, surprisingly cool considering the high level of alcohol, acid bite, noticeable tannic grip, tremendous minerality, still has light yeasty notes, persistent, good depth, veryvibrant, still very slightly rough, full body, slightly sweetish and creamy, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, still undeveloped, very good, firm, gripping finish.

One of the eight specific wine growing areas in the Austrian province or generic wine growing area of Lower Austria. It is crossed by the Danube, on whose northern bank slopes many of the most terraced vineyards are located. The partly very steep vineyards are among the steepest vineyards in Austria.
