2011 Faugères AOC Grande Réserve, Languedoc, France

Translate to English Hochfeiner, tiefer und vielschichtiger, etwas pfeffriger und anderweitig gewürziger Duft nach eingemachten schwarzen Beeren, dunklen Kirschen und Zigarrentabak, Provencekräutern und Lakritze. Fest gewirkte, reife, saftige und würzige Frucht, moderates Holz, ganz leicht schokoladig und kandiert-nussig, jugendliche, dabei überwiegend mürbe Tannine, dicht und nachhaltig am Gaumen, viel Kraft, aber trotz seines recht hohen Alkohols keine Schwere, strafft sich mit Luft noch, wird zudem immer tiefer, kühle Mineralik im Hintergrund, sehr guter bis langer, saftiger, schmelziger und würziger, ziemlich vielschichtiger Abgang. Umwerfend.
