2010 Gaillac AOC Réserve "Elevé en fût de chêne", South-west France, France

Slightly dried herbaceous scent of black and red berries with pepper notes, a little cinnamon and ethereal traces. Quite juicy, still surprisingly fresh fruit with fine sandy tannin and some acid bite, a little citrus zest on the palate, again also cinnamon, a trace drying in the otherwise very good finish. Clearly better than the first sample
