Editor note: Cool nose, light floral and herbaceous notes, red and a few black berries. Tart, clear fruit on the palate, light nutty notes and spicy traces, light grip, elegant acid bite, good persistence, mineral traces, good finish.

IGP area in the northern half of the Tarn department in Southwest France, In terms of area, it corresponds to the AOC area Gaillac and additional area south to the Agout River. Côtes du Tarn is part of the huge regional IGP area Comté Tolosan, The vineyards cover 5,000 hectares of vines on limestone soils mainly along and around the Tarn River in 116 municipalities. In this area between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean there is maritime climate with mild rainy winters and dry, hot summers.
