2017 Gigondas AOC "Les Secrets de Montmirail", Rhône, France

Deep and firm, slightly herbal and floral scent of mixed berries and a little cherry with juniper, pepper and a hint of bacon. Clear, concentrated and polished, ripe, juicy fruit, very slightly warm-looking, very fine, still youthful and present tannins, nutty and bitter chocolate aromas, pepper in the background, dried-herbal and floral notes, again juniper, deep, complex and sustainable , a lot of power, spicy nuances, a hint of lavender, very good to long finish with a lot of ripe juice and spice. May mature.
