2003 Beaujolais-Villages AOC Charme des Brugères, Beaujolais, France

Fairly mature but light nose, elegant plummy fruit, light chocolate and red berry notes. Medium-bodied, polished and quite harmonious sour cherry and berry fruit, still quite youthful, integrated, moderate tannins with a noticeable whiff of oak, slightly astringent on an otherwise attractive to good finish.
