2003 Beaujolais-Villages AOC Cuvée Prestige, Beaujolais, France

Red berry nose, orange zest and fresh tea leaves, light notes of old oak. Some Mediterranean fruit and tart red berries on the palate, quite good substance, a little rough and unruly, slightly astringent tannins still fairly prominent, attractive to good finish. Could become even more interesting with some maturation.
