2015 Štajerska Slovenija Sauvignon Blanc "Pruh", Podravje, Slovenia

Firm and quite deep, tart, somewhat planty and slightly smoky bouquet with white and yellow fruit aromas, hints of yeasty nuances, elderflower and mineral tones. Clear, tart, bright, restrained fruit, fine, lively acidity and plenty of grip, fresh vegetal tones, some yeast, clear, chalky, salty minerality, smoky traces, good persistence and depth, still very young, almost a little reductive, currently rather unapproachable, very good, firm, tart finish. Has closed up once again and needs to mature further.

Editor note: Firm, deep and complex, intensely herbal-spicy and slightly floral aroma with relatively calm yellow and green fruity aromas, a hint of broccoli, hints of exoticism, a hint of rhubarb and clearly mineral tones. Pure-toned, taut, ripe, fine-juicy fruit with floral, dried-vegetable and red-berry nuances, very fine acidity, some grip, again a little rhubarb on the palate, also woody tones, deep and persistent, still very young, intense minerality, multi-layered, very good to long, firm, fine-fruity and again very mineral finish with vegetal spiciness as well as notes reminiscent of rhubarb and elderberry.
