2014 Côtes du Roussillon AOP Clos Escounils, Roussillon, France

Fine and cool, yeasty, herbaceous and very mineral, tart bouquet with restrained, yet noble citrus and pome fruit aromas, light floral nuances and distinct minerality. Quite firm in the mouth, bone dry, yeasty and very mineral, hardly any fruit, light nutty tones and dried herbal aromas, clear, salty minerality, lots of grip, lingering, deep and dense, yet extremely fine, very good to long, tart, gripping finish. A pleasure
