The estate is located in the commune of Courthézon in the northeast of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation in the region Rhone, It is named after a parcel name. The company was founded in 1942 by Etienne Grangeon. Since 1999 he has been managed by the third generation of the family by the siblings Baptiste and Dominique Grangeon. The vineyards cover 21.5 hectares of vineyards planted with the varieties Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne and Bourboulenc. The management follows the biological guidelines of the organic association ECOCERT, The product range includes wines of the three appellations Cotes du Rhone. Cotes du Rhone-Villages and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, as well as Vin de pays and Vin de Tables. The standard Châteauneuf-du-Pape is blended from 90% Grenache Noir (matured in cement tanks) and 10% Syrah (matured in two to three year old barriques). A specialty is the Chateauneuf-du-Pape Renaissance, which is blended from 1.5 hectares of vineyards with 60% Grenache (100 years old), 30% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah.
