2003 Gigondas AOC Cuvée Combe Sauvage, Rhône, France

Ripe red berries and some plums on the nose. Loads of ripe red fruit on the palate, too, full-bodied, sweetish and creamy, warm style, fine tannins, persistent, light spicy and chocolate notes, very well balanced, medium finish. Totally different from the first sample - and miles better.
