2015 Bandol AOC La Brulade, Provence, France

Deep, firm and complex, but very fresh nose, black berries, cherries and some violet with notes of Provence herbs, peppery-spicy aromas and mineral notes. Firm and surprisingly cool on the palate, clear, tart and juicy fruit, herbaceous and floral notes, very fine, firm tannins, persistent and concentrated on the palate, polished, good depth, still barely developed, elegant style, hint of cocoa, Tobacco and licorice in the background, also some iodine and noticeable soy sauce, pepper and salty-mineral notes, very good to long, firm, juicy and fine spicy finish with draw. First class.
