2003 Chateauneuf-du-Pape AOC Les Hautes Brusquières, Rhône, France

Cherries and red berries on a slightly green nose, slightly alcoholic. Full-bodied, quite juicy fruit, slightly jammy, dusty tannins, dark chocolate on the palate, sweetish flavors of dried herbs in the background, good substance, floral nuances, juicy and fruity notes as well as some more light chocolate notes on quite a long finish. Has good maturation potential.
