Deep and multilayered, woody and herbaceous, somewhat peppery and tobacco aroma of preserved mixed berries with vegetal and distinctly earthy aromas. Ripe, polished fruit in the mouth, chocolaty wood, fat and melting, mushroomy aromas on the palate, coffee and tobacco, partly very fine, partly somewhat drying tannin, smoky aromas, a little aubergine in the background, plus some bitter chocolate and tobacco, seems deceptively open at first, but tightens up considerably with air, has depth, very good to long, again somewhat tobacco and woody finish. Must mature
