Red berry nose, some waterproof paint, stalky and notes of old oak. Fairly complex on the palate, compact berry fruit, plum preserves, has some substance, integrated tannins, but quite prominent for the region, attractive to good finish. Slightly austere style, but has good structure, some mineral notes.
