Appellation for red, rosé and white wines in the French wine-growing region Loire, The in 2002 from the field Orléanais Former VDQS area was classified in 2006. The vineyards cover 80 hectares of vineyards in 13 municipalities in the department of Loiret. The rosé and red wines are made from Auvernat ( Pinot Noir ) and Pinot Meunier, the white wines mainly from Auvernat Blanc ( Chardonnay ) pressed. There are also the areas here Coteaux du Giennois and Orléans-Clery,
