2004 Côtes du Rhone AOC, Rhône, France

Clear nose with preserved red and black berries, wilted flowers, delicate spicy and light mienral notes. Fairly tart fruit on the palate, slightly spicy, some sandy tannins, elegant acidity, mineral notes in the background, not particularly deep, quite tart again on an otherwise attractive finish.
