2017 Picpoul de Pinet AOP, Languedoc, France

Cool, delicately yeasty and vegetable to herbaceous scent with pome and stone fruit notes and a little citrus. Tart, relatively juicy, somewhat lemony fruit, a hint of mango, cactus and sage, lively acidity, yellow-spicy hints, still very slightly sandy tannin, earthy minerality, nutty and again delicately yeasty tones, certain persistence and smoothness, good to very good finish
