2016 Fitou AOC Tradition, Languedoc, France

Earthy and clearly vegetal, acidic, somewhat reminiscent of pickled cucumbers with notes of black berries, some nuts and herbs. Straightforward, tart fruit, nutty, earthy and vegetal notes, slightly sandy and astringent tannins, dill in the background, attractive finish with some juice.
