2000 Chateauneuf-du-Pape AOC, Rhône, France

Provencale herbs and smoke on the nose, smoked meat, roasted notes, and some hidden baked red fruit. Fairly spicy on the palate, mature red fruit, medium body, perhaps slightly rustic style, not particularly deep, sweetish roasted notes, red fruit on an attractive to good finish.
