Domaine de Sermezy
Winery Wines

1999 Beaujolais-Villages AOC, Beaujolais, France

Subdued nose with light ethereal berry notes, light spicy oak, caramelised chestnuts and some dried orange zest. Still quite firm and almost juicy on the palate, polished fruit of dried berries and some candied, chocolate-coated orange zest (arancini), delicate, ripe acidity keeps the wine lively, cherry pips, integrated, very fine tannins and integrated, almost unnoticeable oak, appears lighter than it is, good long finish.
