2000 Beaujolais-Villages AOC, Beaujolais, France

Fairly mature, spicy nose with partly preserved red and black berries, notes of dried flowers and mineral traces. Quite firm on the palate and quite juicy, spicy, fine sandy tannins and mineral notes, good persistence, fairly creamy, light acid bite, good finish.

Editor note: Spicy, quite complex red berry nose, with wilted flowers and mineral notes. Clean and straightforward in the mouth, spicy, fairly cool style, fine tannins, persistent on the palate, harmonious and mature, very pleasant to drink, good finish.
