The estate is located in the municipality of Rocuefort-sur-Loire 20 km southwest of Angers in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the French wine-growing region Loire , The traditional business has been owned by the Baumard family since 1634. It was reactivated by Jean Baumard in the mid-1950s. Since 1992 he is led by son Florent Baumard. The vineyards cover 40 hectares of vineyards on both banks of the Loire.
