2013 Quarts-de-Chaume AOC Grand Cru, Loire, France

Firm and deep, complex, relatively tart, somewhat yeasty aroma with herbal to herbaceous and restrained yellow fruity aromas, some candied flowers and distinct minerality as well as delicate yellow-spicy tones. Firm, concentrated, yet fresh, lively and very juicy sweet fruit, fine, lively acidity, distinctly noble, yeasty, herbaceous-herbal and floral nuances, a hint of dark berries, persistent, dense and complex on the palate, excellent depth, clear minerality, candy notes, delicate herbs, despite its youth already beguiling, bright nutty and again slightly yellow-spicy flavors, brilliant style, perfect balance, very long, complex and juicy finish with bite, fine spice and minerality. Delightful
