2013 Savenniéres AOC Clos du Papillon, Loire, France

Firm, still slightly reductive, yeasty, herbal and a little light-floral scent with subdued yellow-fruity notes, a hint of bacon, clearly yeast, a little smoke and light minerality. Ripe, dense, juicy, sweetish fruit with fine vegetal to herbal and also floral aromas, salty mineral notes and lots of yeast, very fine acidity and delicate carbonic acid on the palate, persistent, still completely undeveloped, indicated red berries in the background, certain melting, peppery nuances, excellent depth, very good to long, again somewhat sweet finish with juice and bite. Must mature.
