DOMAINE DES DEUX PLATANES
Winery Wines Files 13

2011 Pays d'Hérault IGP Carignan-Grenache "1 vieilles vignes", Languedoc, France

Firm, tart, bloody, fleshy and cedar scent of mainly black berries with leathery tones, dried Provencal herbs and earthy and slightly ethereal notes. Ripe, juicy fruit with slightly toasty spice and again quite clearly ethereal notes, a little candied nuts on the palate, crumbly tannin and a little bite, a hint of blood and iodine, salty notes, lots of power, a little dark chocolate, toasty tones, very good finish
