2013 Pays d'Hérault IGP Grenache-Carignan "1 vieilles vignes", Languedoc, France

Light dried vegetal and earthy notes on the nose, predominantly black and a few red berries, dried floral traces, hint of tobacco, cocoa and provencale herbs, preserved cherries and plums. Ripe, clear, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, delicate nutty notes, touch of chocolate, hint of nut butter and some provencale herbs, integrated tannins, good substance and persistence, creamy, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, light bite, good to very good, fairly juicy finish.
